CFYT Radio– Become a DJ!

Anyone can become a volunteer DJ at CFYT!
If you are interested in having a show of your very own, these are the steps (click the links to view/download the document):
1. Fill out and return the volunteer_dj_application
2. A CFYT representative will contact you regarding scheduling and training.
3. You will be teamed up with a trained CFYT DJ as a mentor. You and your mentor will arrange a session in the CFYT station to complete the mentoring_checklist and be given a cfyt-volunteer-handbook outlining CFYT rules, policies and regulations.
4. After successful completion of training and mentoring and payment of your $5 membership fee to the Dawson City Community Radio Society, you will sign your volunteer_programmers_agreement and your mentor will sit in on your first live broadcast.
5. You’ll get your own spot on the CFYT lineup. Glory and fame will follow!
